Forensic Chemistry at
Michigan  State University

Welcome to Forensic Chemistry at Michigan State University! We are part of the MS Forensic Science Program administered through the School of Criminal Justice and our labs are located in the Chemistry building on the MSU campus.

We are one of the few FEPAC accredited graduate forensic programs in the United States and our degree places a strong emphasis on forensic research. Our students often complete internships at local and state crime laboratories during their two-year Masters degree. In addition, students may also chose to enroll in both the MS Forensic Science degree as well as the Chemistry Ph.D. program, completing both degrees simultaneously.

Feel free to browse these pages to find out more about our program, our research, and other activities. We're more than happy to answer any questions you may have so please, contact us.
